She lives in New York with her husband and two children.
Alexandra Young graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in communications design in 2009. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and works at Marvel Entertainment, LLC.

She moved to NYC to attend Pratt Institute and graduated with a BFA in Communications Design and a major in Illustration in May 2009. Young currently lives in Brooklyn and works at Marvel Entertainment LLC on the PSP and digital comics projects. The Pearl is her first book.
